Het aantal faillissementen in Nederland is sinds begin 2009 fors gestegen. Volgens ervaren curatoren komt dat meer door de slechte markt dan door de onkunde van ondernemers. Toch signaleren zij vier blunders die uw kans om failliet te gaan aanzienlijk vergroten.
1. Misplaatst optimisme Het idee dat het wel mee zal vallen en zo'n vaart niet zal lopen. 2. Trouw personeel niet willen ontslaan Niet zelden teren ondernemers in op hun eigen vermogen om hun loyale werknemers maar aan de slag te houden. 3. Gebrek aan financieel inzicht Onvoldoende inzicht in de winstgevendheid, kosten en cash-flowpositie. En: ondeugdelijke boekhouding. 4. De almachtige DGA Een dominante directeur/grootaandeelhouder krijgt vaak niet de kritiek die op zijn plaats zou zijn. Hij waant zich almachtig en komt zo in de problemen.
